Mat Cleary

Mat has been a strategic counsel for businesses of all sizes since becoming an attorney in 2015. Over four years in private practice, Mat advised over 200 unique businesses in their transactional, licensing, regulatory compliance, and strategic needs in heavily-regulated industries, often serving as an outside general counsel. He then moved in-house and spent the next 5-6 years holding titles such as Director of Regulatory Operations, VP of Business Affairs, General Counsel, and COO. Mat is an expert in strategic planning for both asset protection and growth.
In his free time, Mat plays lead guitar and sings in an indie rock band. He also attempts to stay active with soccer, hockey, basketball, and swimming and spends time with his three-year-old daughter and wife.
